Many years ago, Sirrus was a country at war with itself. The Eswyn had split into two groups, one who was trying to get into the Divine Realm to get the Gods' and Goddesses' power for themselves and one who was trying to stop them. The rest of the groups did their best to stay away from the conflict. The fighting continued, and the Divine Realm was almost opened. But the Gods and Goddesses were not pleased. They banished the power-hungry Eswyn to the Dark Forest, a place of monsters, shadows, and dangers, and transformed them so they could never walk in the sun again. They became the Nocsyn. Staying in their forest, they've kept away from the rest of the world. Until now.
For centuries, Sirrus has been peaceful. It's inhabitants have sort of kept to themselves, and the country has flourished. But there's a problem. The Nocsyn, a new generation from the ones banished, have started to leave their forest, traveling at night to avoid the sun that burns them. They're not evil, and only want to rejoin the rest of Sirrus. But the Eswyn, especially the ones whose bloodlines have no tainted blood, are not happy. They will use any force necessary to keep the Nocsyn in their forest prison.
Sirrus may be looking at another war. People are choosing sides. Should the Nocsyn stay in their forest, or be free to leave? Even the Goddesses and Gods are picking sides. Some believe the outcasts have changed. Some, not so much. As tensions rise and fights break out, long kept secrets can no longer stay hidden, and some of those who are fighting may have other motives and goals...
