[*] She can "feel" emotions, but they're very obviously artificial
General Personality: Jinx, due to being a robot, does not have real emotions. She can "feel", but it's obvious they're fake to any who look. She has a vague sense of what emotions really are, because of her artificial "heart", but she doesn't understand them completely. She dislikes silence, as it makes her feel vulnerable. Loud noises comfort her, as loud noises usually indicate that she is doing something. Doing something has always been a favorite of Jinx's. Not doing something makes her "feel" lazy, and laziness isn't an "emotion" that she likes. She likes to sit completely still, and if she were to fidget, she would immediately become uncomfortable. There are times in which her "master" used to leave her alone for an hour or two when he went away, and it drove her crazy waiting for him. She can't stand being left alone for more than 15 minutes, as she has a paranoid fear of being abandoned. She does, however, have literally infinite patience built into her. She does not need to sleep, eat, or drink due to what she is. She hates to decline a request from anyone, and will try to be whatever her "master" has asked her to be. Her database and body shut down if she's left alone for too long, and will short-circuit if she's asked to do something that she can't do.
But she was still missing one thing that just can't be made
Basic Appearance: Jinx is average sized, being 5'5" and rather lanky. She has long black hair that spikes at the ends. Pale skinned, she has blue eyes that seem to stare through you instead of at you. One eye has a glowing quality to it, just another sign of her being inhuman. She has a stitched up scar on her hip from her human-looking skin being torn through to the metal inside her.
Preferred Clothing: She wears really short black shorts and a belly tank top. A black cloak covers her shoulders. She tends not to fight, as she is afraid of short-circuiting right in the middle of a fight, but she will send weak electrical shocks through her fingers at anything that intends to harm her "master".
Family: N/A
History: She was created by a lonely scientist in the lab that she currently resides in. Back when she was first made, the lab was alive with people and experiments. She had been the very first robot made, and she was the only robot made. Her "master", as she called him, was an elderly man who needed a lot of help getting around. He had programmed her to do anything and be anything he told her to, and she stuck to it rigorously. He began to leave the lab to observe how she reacted when left alone for extended periods of time. He wrote notes on how she would sit completely still and patiently at the door for about 15 minutes before beginning to pace nervously. Her "master" wrote notes on how edgy she would get when it was completely silent, and how she would short-circuit f he asked her to do something she was unable to do, such as cry or touch the sky. He loved her unconditionally, but she always seemed to be "missing" something. He finally found out when she asked him "Master, what is this program you humans have called a 'heart'? Do I have a 'heart'?" Instead of answering her, he gave a great cry of victory and set to work making something for her. However, he died before he could complete it. Curious, she touched the piece of technology that he had been working with, and suddenly she was filled with "emotions". They weren't real, of course, but still she was 'happy'. She found out what it felt like to be sad, to have tears roll down her face. She found out the feeling of fear and how humans would shake when afraid. Finally, she understood what happiness, sadness, anger, and joy were. She suddenly understood why her "master" would shake and hug her after she had been "unconscious" for a few days after a short-circuit. This was all too much for her, however, and she collapsed. After a few more months of the "master" having been dead, she shut off. Now after 356 years, making her 400 years old, she has suddenly awoken once more, being attached to the building as she was knowing that someone has entered the old abandoned lab. Her "heart" has been repressed to be more manageable. Being awoken means that someone must have come back for her. Right?
Which is called "heart", a program.
