Basic Appearance: Average height, 5'6". Often dressed in a plain, tattered, black-and-blue coat, torn-up, tattered jeans, and a regular white T-shirt. Wears an eye-patch over his left eye. Right eye is blue. Pupil, if one looks closely enough, is shaped like a gear. Blond hair. Very pale, burns easily in the sun. Jaw is crooked. Wears finger-less, brown gloves. If caught with eye-patch off, has empty eye socket where left eye should be. Nails are painted blue and black. Has bag with gears on it to hold items in. Carries a long-sword and a dagger hidden in his cloak.

Family: None that he would care to see, except for maybe his  mother, Ferin, who is 46 years old. He also considers his pet, Append, part of his family.
History: Childhood was uneventful. Learned sword-fighting at age 10. Left home at 12 with his parents' permission. Began to learn all the different languages for reasons he won't say. Mastered Eswyn, Ariss, and Suroc first. Found a stray cat, named it Append. Decides to keep cat as a pet. Append follows him everywhere. Append helps ward off rabid dogs. Met up with a band of kids called 'the Organization' at 15. Was treated as a welcome guest for a few days. Decided not to stick around. Organization promises to remain acquaintances with Vinyl. Age 16, falls from a steep cliff and breaks his jaw. Jaw heals incorrectly, resulting in his crooked jaw. Age 17, accidentally scares Append and gets his eye clawed out. Age 18, meets up with Organization again. New members nickname him "Crooked". Name sticks. Began to introduce himself as "Crooked" instead of "Vinyl". Stays with Organization for two years. Became the way he is during that time. Organization gives him eyepatch. Age 22, visits the desert. Makes acquaintances with a very small Ariss tribe. Leaves at age 23. Meets the Flispri, Surocs, and even some Skrits and Kikyis within another year. Manages to gain their trust. Now 25, is in Spring City for the time being. Append is still with him. Plans to head to Light Forest just to look around, maybe meet a few pretty girls.

Other: I had this idea that Caila might be in Spring City for training purposes and these two meet up. She begs him to let her take a blood sample so he does (grudgingly) and she's super ecstatic to find out that he's a blood type O (cause that's rare) and makes him come with her back to her house with her for further testing and cause she kinda maybe likes him... XD
