These are the races you can use when creating a character:
Humans~
Weak, with varying magical power that is given at birth. Wide range in appearance. They can live pretty much anywhere. Anything in the Starting Weapons List can be used by a human.
Eswyn~
Elflike people who look a lot like humans. Slightly stronger, with mild magic. Wide range in appearance, always have pointed ears, usually have almost chalk-white skin. They usually live among humans, though some can be found in groups in the Light Forest. There are only a few pureblooded Eswyn left, as they tend to intermarry with other races. Eswyn mostly use magic, but they can learn to use any ranged or melee weapon, especially if they live among humans.
Suroc~
Strong tall rock-skinned people, no magical power, very strong. They have red or bright orange skin, usually with grey designs of their tribes. Their home is the volcano; heat doesn't bother them. They create their children by crafting them out of rock. Strangely enough, they also eat rocks. They're a bit slow moving, but their skin is as hard as stone armor, and one can move a huge boulder if they put their mind to it. Their melee weapons are their strength, and staffs and maces are what they use most of the time.
Flispri~
Fishlike people who need water to survive. Strength and magic mild. They're thin, looking a bit like mermaids from fairytales with a few differences. Their tail scales usually range from light to dark of one color, which is usually genetic. Their skin usually matches this color, and same for their hair. Their teeth are pointed and sharp. They have gills, but are humanoids, and they have powerful fins on their arms to help them maneuver better underwater and fight. Some are born with sharp and sturdy fins that can act like blades. Their fingers are webbed, which along with their tails allows them to be powerful swimmers who can swim even up waterfalls. They mostly live in places with lots of water, and can use mainly any weapon as well as any type of magic. Sometimes their fins are their weapons. They don't usually go on land, but some magic-users can turn their tails into scaled humanlike legs. If they don't return to water within a day, they dry out and start to wither.
Nocsyn~
Night people, burned by sunlight without protection, strong magical power, strength mild. Their eyes can range from very dark red to orange to very bright yellow. Pale blue, pale green, black, or gray skin as well as orange, blue, yellow, gray, black, or red hair. Mainly slender and tall. They live in their own realm, and originate from banished Eswyn. It's said that they are the Eswyn's dark counterparts, though they're not evil. Still, they almost never venture out of the Dark Forest, but that could be because their skin is sensitive to the sun. Some come out at night. Magic is their specialty, though they can use any weapon.
Ariss~
Humanoid felines who live in the desert. Swift, excellent fighters, with some magic. They don't interact with other races much, preferring to talk with their own people. Their tribes are scattered all over the desert, and they don't usually leave. Fur covers them, and the colors range from dark brown to very light tan. Their eyes range from orange to a bright yellow, and are great for seeing in the dark. Like most cats, they tend to eat their meat raw instead of cooking it. Though some can use magic, they tend to fight with blades as well as their teeth and claws. Many are honest, but Ariss make exceptional thieves and assassins with their almost silent steps and great stealth.
Midura~
Shapeshifter tribes. They rarely have magic, and their strength varies. They usually take humanoid form, and that's all they have until they come of age at 16. Then the teen leaves their tribe, and some sense guides them to where they need to go. There they will find a spirit animal, placed there by the deities they worship. When they touch it, it will turn into a totem of that animal, which they will hang around their neck. After that, they are able to turn into that animal, sharing some of their instincts and looks with it even when they are in their regular form. They usually keep to themselves, and are very wild in nature. When they fight, it's usually in their shifted form, and if they fight as a human they usually use blades.
Kikyi~
They are the forest children, living amazingly long lifespans. Each has a Skrit companian. Magic is rare, strength is weak. When threatened, they can change forms into a very small demon to fight. However, changing back is easy. Normally, they have green, blond, cinnamon colored, or brown hair. They each wear clothes sewn out of very durable leaves. All Kikyi are kids, and if they go outside of the Light Forest, they have to return in three days or they get very sick. Being in the Dark Forest is okay for them, but they usually stay far away from it. Amiable towards all friendly towards them. Usually distrust adults. Usually they use childish weapons, and if they're really feeling threatened their demon claws and fangs work just fine. Their Skrits usually fight for them.
Skrit~
Look like very tiny Humans with huge wings for their size, but they glow brightly so you usually can't see what their bodies look like. Strong magic power, though always elemental or healing. They can be different colors, and many can use an element specific to their color. They usually live around the forest, springs, or places strong with their element. There are three types, Guardian, Fighter, and Healer. Friends to Kikyi, ignore almost everyone else. Some can use their powers to make themselves look humanlike, but their hair and eye colors don't always allow them to fit in. Healers tend to have healing magic as well as weak elemental magic. Fighters are great warriors with both their elements and other weapons when they're in human form. Guardians are the companions of the Kikyi, and use their elements to protect them.
Hybrid~
Rare, a cross between two species. Their characteristics depend on their parents.
Other~
Anything else you can think up, like monsters. Too many of one species and I'll have to ban it, sorry.
NPCs can be anything, even something not on this list. Basically characters that you interact with in your threads that don't actually belong to a person. During some events, staff can use NPCs like they are their real characters.

- Midura and Eswyn mixes create Forestkin. Forestkin can turn into their animal at any age, and being humanlike isn't their regular form. Instead, they are sort of at the halfway mark, humanoid but with obvious animal traits (more obvious than the Midura). The animal they turn into is not genetically decided, but can be anything.
