Ryuu awoke, panting with fear. He turned his sightless gaze to the bed. He'd insisted on having Seiji sleep in his own bed, mostly because Ryuu liked to feeling of the floor and partly because he slept better at night on flat uncomfortable surfaces(such as wide tree branches). Inching his way onto the bed, Ryuu shook Seiji, his arms shaking with fear. Ryuu heard Seiji groan, and assumed he was awake. This was confirmed when his friend asked, in a sleepy voice, "Why are you up so late? It's got to be at least midnight..." Ryuu explained in a terrified, small voice about his nightmare. Sighing, Ryuu felt his friend sit up. Feeling Seiji move his arms, Ryuu immediately clambered softly into his lap. "Do you wanna tell me about it? I heard that talking about nightmares will make them go away." Seiji still sounded tired, but Ryuu nodded and began to speak as quietly as ever. "W-Well, we were both in a r-really big house. A-And then as we were walking around, I felt a really really hot something b-burn my back. So I turned around, and there were f-flames there!" The blind, small teen paused, shaking in terror once more, and he pressed his back gently into his friend. Seiji softly asked him to keep going, and Ryuu obliged, even though he didn't want to. "I c-couldn't find you, but I could hear you! You were there, and s-speaking as t-though nothing was happening. We escaped u-upstairs, and y-you were on fire. B-But you didn't look to be in p-pain, and y-you didn't even notice it! S-Suddenly we were trapped b-by the fire, but y-you just walked through the flames like there weren't there. Y-You left the big house, and t-then I woke up, right b-before I d-died." Ryuu twisted his head as though to look at Seiji, despite the fact that his purple eyes were clouded and blind. If someone was to just give him a glance, it would appear as though he was actually looking at Seiji. "Y-You wouldn't do that, w-would you? Y-You wouldn't l-leave me to d-die, right?" Seiji ruffled Ryuu's messy hair in an awkward way, as though he wasn't used to having someone rely so heavily on him. "Of course not. You just had a nightmare, that's all. And I promise we won't go exploring any big buildings just in case, okay?" Ryuu nodded, and climbed out of Seiji's lap. "Thank you, Seiji. For listening to my nightmare even though you're tired." "No problem, kiddo." Ryuu clambered back onto the floor and listened as Seiji fell asleep. In only a few minutes, he had also fallen asleep. The nightmare repeated, except this time, it was turned into a dream. How was it turned into a dream? Why, of course, Seiji saved Ryuu.
((This isn't relevant to the plot at all, I just wanted to write this sooo bad. It's not long, only 471 words, but I just had to. Midna, if you want, you can write up Seiji's point of view on this. Sorry about the power-play, but since it's not a roleplay I don't think it counts?))
