General Personality: Rebellious. Likes to play pranks, and is good at it. Likes to pick fights. Great night vision. Likes to believe that she doesn't have to take orders from anyone. Dislikes guys who only like her for her looks. Dislikes heights, but can manage as long as it's under 20 feet. Deathly afraid of water from a terrible swimming accident that nearly ended with her death. Oddly enough, loves fire and is obsessed with it. Fast, but not agile; is terrible at dodging. Can speak the melodious language of the Birds. Can barely speak Common; speaks brokenly when she does.

Basic Appearance: Average in height, about 5'5". Bright blue eyes, ghostly pale skin, boyishly short blond hair. Dresses boyishly. Ripped jeans with deep pockets, a black t-shirt under a white jacket that hides her figure. Two gold ring earrings on one ear. Long, twisting scar that goes from the back of her neck to the middle of her back. Three claw-mark scars across her right eye, blinding her in that eye. Lets her bangs hang down in front of her blinded eye. Burn mark on her palm from having fought in a fire fight.
Preferred Clothing: Likes to fight with her fists, but will sometimes fight with sticks or shards of glass. Does not have a true weapon. Can use a sword, though.
Family: None that she'd like to see ever again.
History: Was abused as a child. Kind mother died at age 6. Ran away from abusive father at age 10. Met a retired swordsman who only spoke in broken Common; trained with him until she was 13 and learned to speak from him. Reason why she doesn't speak correctly. Learned the language of the Birds at age 14 from a sparrow she calls Hop, due to the fact that he limps. Doesn't believe the birds when they say that people are bad, because "she's a person too, and she isn't bad." The birds agreed with her there. Swordsman dies in his sleep, and she buries him with the help of the birds, who translate what she saying to the wolf. Nearly dies when she falls into a river and cannot swim. Becomes afraid of water. Has talked with only one person besides the old swordsman; the person's name was Lightning. Lightning helped rename the now 15-year old, since she does not remember her name. Is renamed Emiko. Everything is peaceful for the next 3 years. Hop's family dies; Hop comes to live with Emiko. People begin to travel through the forest. Emiko acts as their guide through the forest, since she knows the woods perfectly. One year later, she finds herself living in the trees and foraging for food, occasionally getting the birds to help her. Doesn't want to talk to people, afraid that they would make fun of her broken Common speech. Lives happily with the birds.
