Prissy Assassin Boy [Caiden/Caila]

[Midna]

Caiden swears his blushes are getting brighter by the dress.

Caila nods quickly when she sees the dress. "Oh yes! Go on, you need to! It looks perfect on you! He'd better faint; you look gorgeous in that dress. We can always make it up to him later with dinner or something. Go!"

[Snow]

Zel glances away. "I'm a bit busy tonight. You know... my job and stuff... and I might end up going to the bar afterwards..." Zel suddenly gets a very horrible idea. "You better not drag him to the pub just in case I'm there! You know how I get when I'm drunk!"

Zel, his face bright with a blush, slides on the skintight dress and puts on the black heels he'd bought to go with it and very, very hesitantly shows himself to Caiden. part of the fake breasts show despite the cloth that's supposed to cover them. He knows that it doesn't show that they're fake because he put makeup over the edges to fade it into his skin, but it's still rather embarrassing.

[Midna]

Caila sighs "...Fine." She crosses her fingers though. She'll be there watching from a distance to make sure he doesn't get himself into trouble, and if Caiden comes with her, he won't be coming because Zel is there. He'll be coming because Caila is.

Caiden is looking down at the book Caila hit him with earlier. Hearing footsteps, he looks up and stares at Zel. He stops breathing. She looks gorgeous. Absolutely stunning. "You look beautiful." he says softly. Then the situation hits him and the blood that was supposed to go to his brain goes to his face. He feels dizzy, then faints. At least he was sitting down.

Caila hears the thump from upstairs and knows exactly what happened. Giggling, she goes downstairs to make sure he didn't hit his head or something.

[Snow]

Zel passes her as he skitters into Caila's room, blushing horribly. He changes back into the clothes he'd been wearing earlier, the skirt and white T-shirt, and hides under Caila's bed. He's blushing furiously. He knew he shouldn't have gone down there in that dress...

In such a time of panic, Zel himself fainted, leaving Shrike to take the reins. The moment Shrike takes control, three things happen:

1. His eyes turn red
2. His feather turns fire-orange
3. He gets little horns.

Caila will not be messing with Zel anytime soon, not when Shrike's in control. Hearing someone enter the room, he pokes his head out from under the bed, the horns giving him a little bit of trouble, and he glares. Those red eyes make glaring very intimidating.

[Midna]

Caila's changed into what she was wearing too, jeans and a nice shirt. Nothing too fancy. She heads back upstairs, done with Caiden. He'll have a headache when he wakes up but no permanent damage. Still giggling, she goes back into her room. "He actually fainted," she says, then stops. "Zel?" Seeing Shrike, she grins. "Hiya Shrike. What are you glaring at me for? He won't have any permanent damage. Just a headache when he wakes up probably." Then she quiets a little bit, a little nervous around this personality. He's kinda violent, and she knows that.

[Snow]

He glares at her for another moment, then rolls his eyes and comes out from under the bed. He taps her head, not really one for words, and then taps it again. It's your fault and you know it. Shrike rummages through Zel's bag for a moment, finding the pen and paper that Zel always carries around for moments like this. He writes in frustratingly girly handwriting, You shouldn't have made Zel go down there, not with those doubts. Zel himself fainted. It's your fault, you dummy.

Shrike also isn't one for using highly offensive words, strangely enough. Once Caila's read the paper, he puts it away and pulls out a file. Zel carries two files - one for manicures and pedicures, and one for Shrike's horns so that they don't hurt anyone by accident. The horns are getting sharp again, so he quietly files them down until they're a little duller.

The red-eyed boy gives Caila a sort of look, then begins to fix her outfit. it's a little ruffled, and he quietly tugs stray threads out with no effort. Then he stands back, looking at her analytically, and then he fixes her hair into a bun. A loose bun so that it won't hurt her, but a neat bun. Then he holds up a gods-forsaken mirror that Zel only carries around with him for this reason and shows Caila her reflection, one eyebrow raised.

[Midna]

Caila frowns, looking guilty. She doesn't say anything. Maybe she did push Zel too far. She'll have to apologize when he wakes up. She didn't mean for him to faint too.

When Shrike starts to fix her up, she starts to protest, but decides not to. If he'd half as fashionable as Zel, he knows what he's doing. He probably is; they are in the same body after all. After what seems to her as only half a minute, he holds up a mirror. She stares and grins. "Thank you. I look nice." She'd probably hug him if it weren't for the horns and the glaring.

Well, there's one plus. If Zelly is still out of it later, he won't go drinking. But his other selves might. Crud.

[Snow]

Shrike allows a small smile, then he puts the mirror away and heads for the window. He opens it, glancing outside. Dusk. He gives Caila a farewell nod and hops out the window, disappearing.

Zel is drunk. Too drunk to remember what he was doing, so he just keeps buying drinks. He's talking with someone, someone who's just as drunk as he is, if not drunker. Then they get into a fight, and Zel ends up punching the guy's lights out. Then he buys another drink. He's completely smashed.

He faintly notices someone else enter the bar, but he's too busy getting into another fight and punching someone else's lights out to really care. His shirt has been gone for a while, and Zel's tight black leggings are not helping him any. Occasionally he slaps men for touching his thighs.

"You... you don't-" Zel hiccups, "you don't know what you're talking about, you knucklehead," he slurs to the bartender, who simply smiles and gives him a less potent drink. "Thish ishn't... ishn't what I ashked for..."

"Yes it is, sir," the bartender lies smoothly. Zel stares at him for a few more moments, then drinks his alcohol. A while alter, Zel is sobbing to someone about how he lost his mother and this person is sobbing with him; if you have never seen two drunken men sobbing together, you are missing out.

[Midna]

To be honest, Caiden is not really sure why he's still here. Caila disappeared into the crowd a while back and this is not somewhere he'd want to be if she wasn't there. Caila had only asked him to go here just in case she needed help, and of course she had agreed. He was her big brother! That was what big brothers did! He'd be a bit more worried that she's gone if he doesn't know that she's carrying very sharp medical tools on her but he knows Cail can handle herself.

Hey, doesn't that person look familiar?

He looks over at the bar area, sipping his water, and sees silver hair. For a second, he thinks it's Zel. No, he decides, it can't be. Zel is a girl. This is just another wasted guy at the bar who's currently shirtless. Crud, he's blushing again.

Caila walks up to him, noticing his stare and blush. Her gaze turns to Zel and she sighs. Nothing too bad yet. "My friend," she explains, "He comes here to get drunk a lot. I keep an eye on him in case something bad happens."

"He's crying?" asked Caiden.

"Drunk people do that." she explains, and they watch quietly. Caila has a glass of water, which she knows nobody has spiked because she refuses to look away from it.

[Snow]

After just a few minutes, someone picks a fight with him for once, and Zel gives this person a confused look. "What? What do you want?" After Zel hears it, Zel stands up on a table just to punch this guy. Then he jumps off to fight, screaming incoherently. The guy he was sobbing with previously cheers him on, hiccuping.

With a bottle of vodka, Zel starts to sing. Very loudly and very drunkenly. Despite his drunkenness, he has a good singing voice. He's standing on tables and throwing glasses. When a guard walks in for a noise complaint, Zel beats the guard up too.

After a while, Zel seems to notice Caila and comes wobbling over, falling multiple times. "Caaaiiilllaaaaaa," he slurs, "Yooouuuuuu misshed the ffuuuuuuunnnnn..." He hiccups once, and then passes out form being too drunk. It happens quite a lot.

[Midna]

Caiden stares as the Zel look-alike beats the snot out of two people and drunkenly starts to sing. He's a little horrified, though the guy has a nice voice. Caila sighs, moving towards him. Apparently, this is when the guy notices Caila and staggers over to her. Caiden hurries over, hoping he won't try to beat up his sister too. But no. The kid goes unconscious.

Caila kneels to check his pulse, then looks up at Caiden apologetically. She looks tired. "Will you help me get him to our house? His is too far and I need to give him a serious talk in the morning."

Caiden nods and picks up the kid, the boy's chin resting on his shoulder. "He looks a little young to be drinking this much," says Caiden.

Caila nods. "He does it all the time though. I've been trying to get him to stop but it hasn't been working."

Seeing her caring looks at the boy, Caiden wonders as they leave if his sister has a crush on this kid. She's older than him, but not by much. It's possible. Hopefully things will turn out well if she does. This kid still reminds him of Zel, even though clearly they're not the same person.

[Snow]

He wakes up to mutter, "I neeed to go get Zeeelll a dressssss for heerrrr birthdaaayyyy.... ssshhheeeeee isss my twwiinnnnn sissssteeeerrrrrrrrrr....." and then he passes out again, not to wake until tomorrow.

When he does wake up, he realizes three things:

1. Caila freaking brought Caiden to the bar
2. He got so drunk he passed out
3. Where did his shirt go?

He vaguely remembers taking his shirt off to give to some guy who wanted it and then a bunch of guys tried to steal it from the first guy, but he doesn't remember much else. Hungover but not too hungover to climb out the window and go back to his house, he does just that.

And promptly passes out again in the yard. Gods forsake him.

[Midna]

Caiden catches what the boy says and nods. That makes sense. He doesn't see Caila's look of relief.

Neither of them are in the room when Zel escapes, and they only discover it later when Caila walks in to check on him. Muttering under her breath and worried sick, she checks the yard before realizing she has no clue where he could be. There's no way he could have gotten to his house, is there? Muttering worse things, she heads inside and Caiden stays far out of her way. He's worried too.

[Snow]

Zel wakes up a few moments later with a raging hangover, a terrible headache, and he's about three feet from his house. There's no way he's gonna make it that far, but he tries anyway. He actually manages to get inside his house and drink a glass of milk before he realizes that Caila is probably worried about him. So he pulls on a shirt (not bothering with trying to look girly) and walks to the forest border.

And then he passes out again against a tree.

[Midna]

Caila heads out again eventually to go find him. She checks the path to his home first, thankfully, and finds her friend slumped against the tree. She manages to get him home and back in bed by herself and locks the window. This time he won't be able to get out. Back from a quick grocery trip, Caiden peeks in and smiles in relief when he sees that Zel is back.
